How it works

  1. 1

    City data

We start from each city’s own public 311 records on its open data portal: every request, with when it was filed, when it closed and how.

  2. 2

    Open method

We publish every rule we use to count, group and compare requests, so anyone can check the work or repeat it.

  3. 3

    Scorecard

You see how fast requests close and what the city found when it closed them, citywide and for your district. Closed isn’t the same as fixed.
